General Dentistry (Operative or Restorative) is responsible for addressing primary issues related to the mouth, teeth, and other related structures. It often represents the initial contact between the patient and the dental professional.

When we talk about oral rehabilitation, we refer to a series of procedures aimed at restoring oral function and aesthetic appearance. In other words, it is the dental specialty that focuses on achieving oral harmony for patients.
Oral rehabilitation includes various treatments such as prostheses and crowns, with their multiple options and treatments, as well as orthodontics, periodontics, and endodontics as preventive steps to avoid tooth loss. Restoring occlusal function involves an initial analysis of the patient’s needs. If you are a candidate for oral rehabilitation treatment, a suitable plan will be designed to meet the specific objectives required for your case. The options are numerous, and we are confident that there is a solution for you.
Dental laser technology is a revolutionary advancement with multiple uses in the field of dentistry. It allows for the removal of the drill for cavity treatment, eliminating the bothersome noises, vibrations, pain, anesthesia, and injections, and enabling much more durable aesthetic restorations.
Due to its special characteristics, dental laser technology is highly useful in soft tissue surgeries, analgesic treatments, therapeutic procedures, anti-inflammatory applications, and regenerative and healing treatments.
Currently, it is used in virtually all processes, such as teeth whitening, cavity prevention, dental hypersensitivity, incipient and deep cavities, abscesses, crown fractures of enamel and dentin, and root canal treatments, among others.
As an additional and predominant advantage, dental laser technology significantly reduces and, in many cases, eliminates the anxiety associated with dental visits. This is because the dental laser, in some way, replaces the rotary instruments, which have been identified as the most traumatic component in dental therapy.

Periodontics involves the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases affecting the gums, root cementum, and alveolar bone.
The main periodontal diseases are gingivitis (inflammation and bleeding of the gums) and periodontitis (destruction of the bone supporting the teeth).
Gingivitis can be reversed by reducing inflammation of the gums, starting with good oral hygiene to control bacterial plaque, and following up with the removal of tartar, periodontal pockets, and other harmful agents. Poor oral hygiene can lead to problems with the heart, liver, brain, or even death.
One of the most commonly used procedures in dentistry is endodontics: it involves the treatment of the root canals or roots of the tooth, in which the entire pulp is removed.
Endodontic procedures are performed on teeth with deep cavities, which lead to inflammation or necrosis (death) of the dental pulp. Other causes of pulpitis or inflammation of the pulp include trauma, abrasion, erosion, and tooth wear from friction (such as from bruxism) or the way some restorative treatments are performed and the materials used in them.
Oral and maxillofacial surgery is a specialty dedicated to the study, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of congenital or acquired diseases of the entire facial structure: skull, mouth, teeth, jaws, face, head, and neck.
This specialty encompasses a wide variety of procedures. The maxillofacial surgeon performs complex interventions ranging from craniofacial reconstructive plastic surgery, surgery of the facial skeleton, and aesthetic procedures of the face and neck to wisdom tooth extractions, apicoectomies, and dental implant placement.
